About

The meaning, and the material.

The Name

KAINĒ — καινή — is the Greek word for new. Not next in a sequence, but new in kind. A thing that did not exist before.

Scripture uses it for what a person becomes in Christ: the old gone, the new arrived. That is the idea we set in metal.

The Material

We begin with precious metal the world had finished with — unused, set aside, reclaimed. It is melted down and formed again.

Not reworked. Remade.
